Year 2 have been learning a lot about different ways to measure things in maths. To start with, we compared and ordered lengths of objects measured in centimetres (cm) and metres (m). More recently, we have considered mass and looking at objects measured in grams (g) and kilograms (kg). We thought about the difference between a gram and a kilogram and solved some tricky problems! Next, we moved on to liquids and how we measure them. We compared volumes of full, half full, quarter full, three quarters full and empty before we measured volumes in millilitres. Take a look at some of our work!
