We will once again be celebrating Work Book Day on Thursday 1st March when the children will be engaged in a range of activities to promote their love of reading. The children are invited to come dressed in their PJs or onesies together with their favourite book. They will all receive a book token at the end of the day to spend at many local book stores such as WH Smith. For more information about this year’s national activities and events please log on to the website, www.worldbookday.com. It is packed with resources, ideas and inspiration as well as amazing competitions.

To celebrate we are asking all parents/carers to search through their cupboards/shelves at home and donate all unwanted books to support our school to raise additional funds, enhance our school library and support our environmental agenda.
