What is a healthy balanced diet?

Year 2 have been learning all about being healthy! We understand the importance of exercise and how this affects our body. We have also been learning about what a healthy, balanced diet is. We started by looking at the ‘Eat Well Plate’ and realised that we need different amounts of food from each of the food groups. We then sorted the foods into the different groups. Afterwards, we designed our own healthy balanced meals.
