What is Gratitude?
Gratitude is one of many positive emotions. It’s about focusing on what’s good in our lives and being thankful for the things we have. Gratitude is pausing to notice and appreciate the things that we may often take for granted, like having a place to live, food, clean water, friends, family, even computer access.
Our wonderful children spent their afternoons creating their own gratitude jars and thought about something they were grateful for that day. This is an activity they will repeat each day and by the end of the week, will end up with a full jar of things to be grateful for! They also showed their gratitude to all of the postmen and women, bin men and women and delivery drivers that bring food and other items to their homes. Take a look at some of the lovely designs, displayed for them to see on their front doors and in windows. I’m sure that will put a smile on their face as they arrive at your door.
