School Games Mark

We were delighted to be informed that our school has been awarded the prestigious Gold Sainsbury’s School Games Mark Award for a second consecutive year. This is in recognition of our commitment, engagement and delivery of competitive school sport during the academic year 2015/16. Our children continued to take part in a range of sporting events at various levels including school, cluster, Gateshead local authority and the wider community.

Gold Kitemark Award

We were also proud to receive a third consecutive Gold Kitemark award in recognition of our outstanding hard work and commitment to sustaining a sporting legacy from the Olympics and Paralympics. During the course of the last academic year, we were the proud recipients of seven ‘BTT’ value marks as part of the Gateshead School Sport Partnership’s programme “Blazing the Trail”.

School Sport Partnership

Our school is part of the Gateshead School Sport Partnership who co-ordinate activities and facilitate collaboration amongst local schools, their clusters and key partners. The aim of the partnership is to build an active and healthy future for all young people through the provision of high quality PE, school sport and physical activities.
