Today Year 4 started their P.E. outdoor and adventurous unit. The children were given 9 close up photographs of different areas of the school grounds. The children worked in teams to try and locate these areas. As some of the photographs could have been more than one area, the children had to look for a control point which informed them if they were correct. Working as a team is so important when orienteering, therefore we asked the children to take a photograph of all team members (except for the member who was taking the photo) to prove that they were in the correct location and that all of the team were together. We had a fab afternoon and the children are excited for their next orienteering lesson which will involve maps!
