Friends of Dunston Hill

The Friends of Dunston Hill are a group of parents / carers who work closely with the school for the benefit of all children. Their aim is to raise funds to allow the school to purchase new resources and equipment and subsidise activities that the school could otherwise not afford. The money raised in the past has enabled the school to purchase new sound / lighting equipment for our productions, educational apps for our ipads and Forest School resources which will benefit all our children throughout their education. Our events are also a fun and great way to bring our community together!

Our Chair is Lynn Rocks.

How Can I Help!

The Friends of Dunston Hill meet on a half termly basis or as required to help Mrs Cox, our Extended School Co-ordinator, to prepare for forthcoming events by sharing ideas and assisting on stalls at the following events:

  • Christmas Fayre – 2 December 2016 at 2.30pm
  • Family Fun Day – June 2017 at 2.30pm
  • Dunston Gala (Dunston Park) – July 2017

We appreciate that everyone has such busy lives and your free time may be limited, however if you are happy to receive updates about meeting dates and events and support our work, then do please let us know.
