On our page you will see all of the things we have been up to lately and information we feel is important to share with you.

We would like to thank you all so much for coming along to our Sports Day yesterday afternoon, we really appreciated your support and encouragement! The children had so much fun and all took part working together in their teams! We had an ice lolly this afternoon as a special treat for us doing so well on our 1st Sports day! Good job everyone!!

We really enjoyed taking part in French day on Friday, we made French flags, learned to count to in French and we even got to try some French food. The croissants were the favourite!

The children thoroughly enjoyed letting our butterflies free into the environmental area. We hope they come back to visit soon!!

This Friday afternoon some of us had the opportunity to go to Kingsmedow School and take part in some ball skills. We had to try really hard using our kicking, throwing, catching and rolling skills! Some were a little tricky but we tried our best and it was lots of fun!

This week was Science week, we’ve had great fun doing volcano experiments, meeting newly hatched chicks and investigating the changes in flowers.

We loved coming into school with our pyjamas on. We brought in our favourite book to share with our friends.

The children have had a lovely first week back in school, we have been very busy with World Book Day and Bandana day! Some photos will be uploaded very soon.

This week the children will not have any homework. We are taking a leaf out of the whole schools book and starting a new approach to homework. This will be presented to you at Parent Consultations next week.

I look forward to seeing you at Parent Consultations next week. Timed appointments will be sent home with the children on Friday.

We had great fun at the Valentine’s disco! We had a little dance and catwalk in the classroom, so all our friends could see our lovely party clothes before we went down into the hall. Then we danced our socks off!!

We thoroughly enjoyed PC Gaulton coming into to talk to us about his role! We even got to try some of his hats on and had a go of his handcuffs!!

This week we enjoyed making our own orange juice, we talked about why it is healthy and why it is important to drink healthy drinks. We enjoyed tasting it too!!
