All the team in Class RC would like to wish you all a very Happy Easter! We hope all the children enjoy their holiday full of fun, family time and chocolate!! We return back to school on Monday 16th April. We look forward to seeing you all then!

Miss Cavanagh, Mrs Guyan and Mrs O’Hara x

Just a little reminder that we do library swap shop every Monday morning. This is when we change your child’s reading books. We listen to all the children read throughout the week so it is very important that the children bring their reading diaries and books every day. Thank you! Class RC team x

Happy New Year to you all! The children have all came back fabulously, excited to share the news of what Santa brought them.

Our PE sessions have now changed to “Little Kickers” which will now take place on a Tuesday morning. Could we please have a named pair of plimsolls or trainers in school.

New creative homework will be coming out this Friday (the 12th of January).

Miss Cavanagh, Mrs Guyan and Mrs O’Hara

I would like to thank you all for your continued support over this last term. The children have settled brilliantly and have worked extremely hard throughout. We are all very proud of each of them. No homework will be coming home over the Christmas Holidays, we will send the new Creative homework out in January.

We all hope you have the most fantastic Christmas and all the very best wishes for 2018.

Quick update:

From next week we will be going into the environmental area every Wednesday morning (starting the 8th November). Could we please have a named pair of wellies in school. We all had a fabulous time at our very first school disco! We all had a great dance, enjoyed our drink and snack and then danced some more!

This years Autumn disco is on Thursday 19th October 4pm-5pm. £1 Entry, We will open the classroom door and bring the children into their classroom and take them down to the hall altogether. Children are to be picked up outside their normal classroom at 5pm.

Please could you make sure your child has a bag in school everyday with their new reading diary, as we will be reading with them at school too. These are great to help the children put their letters and own pictures in to make it easier to bring everything out at home time. If you would like a school book bag speak to a member of the office team.

Thanks

Miss Cavanagh, Mrs Guyan and Mrs O’Hara

A huge thank you to everyone who came to our meet the teacher meeting. It was lovely to see so many parents and special people there! Just for those who could not make it, if we could please have a named water bottle in school and a named pair of wellies to leave on the rack. PE sessions are on every Thursday morning, so please try to put on clothes that are a little easier for the children to dress and undress independently on that day.

Thank you Miss Cavanagh, Mrs Guyan and Mrs O’Hara

Just a little reminder that Reception’s ‘Meet the teacher meeting’ is this Thursday 28th September at 9.15am.

The children have thoroughly enjoyed their second week in Reception, the children have loved their dinners and have been making marvelous medicine for Roald Dahl day! A big thank you to all the parents who came along on Friday, the children loved sharing their dinner time with you!  We look forward to seeing everyone in on Monday for our first week of full days! School starts at 9am and finishes at 3.15pm! We cant wait to have everyone in together!

Thank you to everyone who joined us for our dinner today, we have all done very well in independently getting our knives and forks and carrying our tray to the hatch. We have been working hard on using our knives and forks and cutting up food up ourselves.

Just a reminder that those children who stayed for dinner this week will be coming on the afternoon and those sessions start at 12.45pm, using the normal gate, and those who have not stayed for dinner yet will be moving to the morning session which starts at 9am.

We would like to say a huge well done to all the children for their first week in Reception, they have settled into their new class brilliantly! We are very proud of them! We hope you all have a lovely weekend.

Miss Cavanagh, Mrs Guyan and Mrs O’Hara
