Thank you from Mrs Warrilow

Thank you to all of the wonderful messages and gifts of support for my maternity leave.  I will miss all of the children and staff dearly and look forward to visiting soon with a new arrival.  Enjoy the Easter break.

Embracing all weathers in nursery

Rain, wind and snow...we know how to learn and have fun!  Nursery children were keen to explore the different elements in recent weeks and we discovered lots of new things.  Take a look at the photos to find out more...

Celebrating Chinese New Year

We all enjoyed trying a variety of Chinese food from noodles, crackers and rice to spicy dip. Our teachers were proud because we were all willing to try foods that we had never seen or heard of before. Enjoy the photographs!

We would like to offer a warm welcome to all our Nursery children and their families.

It is wonderful to see them arriving with smiles on their faces eager to explore and play with each other.

A reminder that morning nursery is 8.30-11.30.  We ask that you bring your child into Nursery and settle them with their key worker.  At the end of the day you will once again be welcomed into Nursery to collect your child and find out about what they have been doing.

This page is exclusively for morning Nursery children and over the next few weeks we will be adding lots of photographs and information to keep you updated on what is happening.

Please check regularly to spot some busy, smiling faces!

Welcome back and Happy New Year!  We start 2018 with new friends and families, and the nursery team would like to offer you all a warm welcome.  I’m sure our new children will settle in very well.  Please feel free to speak to a member of staff if you have any queries. Remember to look on the nursery class pages in the next few days to see some very happy and settled faces!

Nursery library

Paper cut of children read a book under tree on old book

We hope you and your child are enjoying reading your borrowed books from Nursery. Please remember that you can borrow a book any time – simply return the previous one and your child can choose another!

wellingtonsPlease remember to bring a pair of wellies that can be left in Nursery if you haven’t already done so, and ensure your child’s name is on them.  The Nursery team would like all children to experience playing with mud and water without getting our uniforms dirty. The children really do thrive and become fully engaged in such play. We have already had a great deal of fun playing in our mud kitchen this week and splashing in and out of muddy puddles.

Monday 18th December is our Christmas party day.  Don’t forget your party outfits, food and those all important dancing shoes!

We’re looking forward to seeing you then. Children attend nursery during normal hours.

Whoops-a-Daisy angel Nursery have been practising hard for our Christmas performance and we hope to see you there on Thursday 14th December – remember to request your tickets. You are in for a real treat and we look forward to sharing this magical performance with you!
