Creative Homework Autumn Term 2

We would love to see as many of you as possible at our Egyptian Day celebrations! Parents and carers are invited to join us in class from 2.30pm on Wednesday 13th December to explore all things Ancient Egypt with us! We hope you can make it.

In Science, we are learning all about plants! We planted some seeds so that we can learn how to care for them so that they can grow! We can’t wait to see how our plants turn out!

We loved cracking a secret code written in hieroglyphs! Check back in soon to see our own hieroglyph names inside cartouches!

Our topic this term is…The Awesome Egyptians!

We would really appreciate any resources or artefacts that anyone has linked to our topic. I know the children would love to share and see these items. Thank you!

Weekly Reminders

Monday – Forest School, Spellings and Times Tables

Spellings and times tables have changed from Friday to Monday. Every week, children will bring these home to learn for the following week. Please support your child with these at home. (Topmarks – Hit the Button is a brilliant game children can play online to support their Maths learning!)

Wednesday and Thursday – PE

Our PE unit is dance. Children are required to wear shorts and a t-shirt in their house colour.

We also ask that your child spends at least ten minutes a day reading at home to support their reading in school. They should bring their reading book back into school each day.

We appreciate all of your help and support. As always, should you have any uestions or queries, do not hesitate to contact a member of the Year 3 Team.
