The children will have PE on Monday and Tuesday afternoons. They will need T-shirts, shorts and plimsolls/ trainers.
Children will have spelling quizzes on a Friday. They will receive their new spellings for the following Friday on that day. Please practise these with your child during the week.
There are no spellings for the first Friday back after Easter (26th April). Children will receive spellings on this day for the following week.
Please ensure that your child’s reading book and reading diary is in school every day. Please read with your child as much as possible and sign their diary. There is a box in the classroom for children to put their finished reading books in and they will receive a new one to take home.
We also ask that that your child has a water bottle in school.
Creative Homework is sent home half termly and we hope you enjoy completing some of the tasks together! If children could please return their homework books on the check point dates as indicated in their books so we can mark and return them. This will keep you and your child updated with their progress towards their 15 point target. We hope many of the children receive a certificate at half term for meeting or exceeding this target!
