Welcome from the Headteacher

Welcome to Dunston Hill Community Primary School

On behalf of the children, staff and governors, I would like to welcome you to Dunston Hill Community Primary School. We hope you find our website clear, informative and easy to navigate. It is designed to give you a flavour of the vibrant life of our school, the work of our children and the quality of education we strive to deliver.

As Headteacher, I am very proud of our school and its many achievements. We have a modern, well-designed and secure building set in spacious, attractive grounds. The extensive range of internal and external facilities and resources ensure that the quality of teaching and learning has a significant impact on pupils’ outcomes. Year on year the school has achieved high standards of attainment in literacy and numeracy and children leave at the end of Year 6 consistently above the national expectations for reading, writing and mathematics.
